Serving as the Executive Director of Authentic LA, Veas holds many responsibilities in carrying out the purposes of this discipleship ministry. He has helped organizations such as the Ascending Lights Leadership Network, Lake Avenue Community Foundation, and Harambee Ministries develop mentoring programs. Born and raised in the LA area, Veas has a heart and passion for mentoring. Veas’ doctoral research in educational psychology at USC was centered on multimedia, learning strategies, mentoring organizations, and small group dynamics. As a Mexican-American and a graduate of Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Theological Seminary, Veas is committed to promoting academic initiatives both inside and outside of the Church. Veas also founded the Renaissance Society during the winter of 2004, born out of a desire to encourage, educate, and network Christian leaders for the glory of Jesus Christ.
